We are looking for a Technical Lead to oversee and mentor our distributed team, across two different products. Our current team has done an incredible job of getting us to where we are today and we are excited about bringing someone on to push our team to even higher-heights, provide mentorship and align our technical strategy with the overall business strategy.

• Lead our small and nimble tech team in building out ways for our product to bring more value to our customers in a way that keeps us ahead of the curve, promotes scalability and enhances security, while maintaining a great user experience
• Help our team stay focused, inspired energized, productive, positive and unblocked
• Guide all technical aspects of development, including technical roadmap, requirements definition, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration
• Cultivate a team culture that includes high ownership, customer-first-focus, fast-paced, and high integrity environment
• Audit technical quality of all major project milestones, identifying technical gaps and risks
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices, architecture, tools, and workflows, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes and practices
• Collaborate with the rest of the leadership team to develop the vision and technical strategy to ensure it is aligned with the business strategy and supports business goals
• Keep up-to-date with developments, trends, practices, and new technologies in the areas related to our SaaS application, assessing and communicating potential impact on the business and our customers
• Strong knowledge base and demonstrated expertise in infrastructure design and execution
• Jump in and code when and where needed!

• Min. 2+ of demonstrated, strong technical leadership with a focus on team management
• Keen eye for simple, powerful, high-leverage implementation--the 20% effort that provides the 80% value
• Strong project management skills to ensure the whole team is on track throughout the sprint and can sustainably deliver high quality work
• Business and financial acumen
• Strong technical chops and deep pattern recognition that informs accurate scoping and the ability to propose several routes to accomplish business goals
• Clear, inclusive communication with both teammates and non-technical partners
• Track record of ownership for team-scale execution and technical excellence
• Strong background working in a SaaS Environment, ideally in the marketing or eComm spac
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
• Experience working in a remote environment and leading a remote team

• 5+ years of recent experience Reactive JS
• 5+ years of recent experience in Node JS
• Deep and recent experience working in an AWS environment
• Agile/Scrum
